The Agency

Luxton Harris Ltd was formed in 2003 by David Luxton and Jonathan Harris.  Rebecca Winfield joined the agency in 2007.

DAVID LUXTON was formerly at Sportspages, one of London’s most highly-respected specialist bookshops and has many years of experience as both a retailer and editorial adviser.  He has a wide ranging knowledge of all sport and represents many of today’s best known sports personalities, journalists and broadcasters in both the UK and Europe.  He also has a general interest in other areas of popular non-fiction including music, politics and contemporary military history. JONATHAN HARRIS has been an agent since 1993 and has worked with some of the world's greatest sports legends.  He is particularly interested in football, rugby, horse racing, Formula One and Moto GP.  He has also represented authors of history, archaeology and current affairs. In addition, Jonathan has extensive experience in the world of film and television and is responsible for much of the Agency’s work in this area. REBECCA WINFIELD worked for Transworld Publishers as their Rights and Contracts Director before becoming a literary agent in 2003.  She represents a number of high profile non-fiction writers.  Rebecca also oversees the rights and contracts for the agency.  Her areas of interest include popular culture, general reference, history and memoir.
